Shalom! I hope you had blessed holidays and a good time with family and friends.
We are still here on our property in Florida. All our dreams of building a house and a small retreat center for recording have faded, but I'm joyful in our little airstream. Mark built me a lovely little workshop I can do my creative stuff in! That extra space of my own has made all the difference. My mom passed on to heaven last December and left my sisters and I with a small inheritance. It was enough to build my little 10X15' she-shed which has made life in our tiny home livable.
We still want to release some music singles, so pray with me that Mark can finish up his project, building his workshop. He's got the pole barn up, the foundation/floor laid, and some of his equipment in it, tarped against the rain when it blows. He needs to get the walls up! We have downed trees from the hurricanes and he's researching ways to build a diy logmill! We don't have the funds to buy the lumber and siding he needs to complete the project. Thus the need for prayer, and a log mill.
I've started making jewelry again and enjoying it immensely. That and writing are fulfilling my need to create. I'm working on book four ‘The Migration’ and it's an exciting adventure! My birthday is next month and I'll be sixty-nine! Mark will be seventy-one in March. How the years have flown! Mark is losing his vision in one eye, and I don't have the energy and balance I used to, but other than that, we are healthy and on no meds. Hallelujah!
We eat well, spend a good amount of time outdoors, and stay active. A recipe for continued good health!
Following a suggestion from a fellow Christian author, I'm preparing a paper manuscript of my first book to send to a potential publisher. With three books finished and a fourth in the works, I'm praying they'll be interested. The comments on my Amazon page are glowing praises for book one. I've never been good at selling my work, so I'm hoping that through a publisher I'll do better.
The jewelry is easy! By uploading photos of what I'm creating on FaceBook and Instagram, FB friends ask if I can make them something like that. I like the one-on-one sales. I've also begun to do local festivals with my books, CDs, and jewelry. This brings in a little extra now and then, and that's helpful! I work with gold filled, silver, bronze, and copper.

God is so good, and life here is good.
Adonai bless and keep you and yours, ~Shimrit
